adding tele# to ship to field in customer info

Is there a way that I can have my customers fill in a “ship to” phone number?

We are a florist and need to also collect a contact phone number for the receiver (ship to), which is usually different from the phone number of the sender (bill to). I can’t find where / how to add this field.

We ship gift fruit packages, and need the phone # of the recipient so the post office can contact them etc.

Is there any way to do this? I also need to add a "ship to" phone number and haven't found anything other than this thread when searching the forums.

You could follow how the comment is added and saved from page to page and trace its pattern to get it added to Orders ...

By adding a new field to the orders table, this could then be stored and shown on the Order or Invoice or Packing Slip ...
