URGENT - Cannot make changes on Admin side of site

Hi

I've just replicated a site on to a test domain for development purposes. Overwrote fresh instal, imported old db, everything looks hunky dory.

Front end, can register as customer etc, changes show on admin side.

HOWEVER, I cannot do anything change wise on the admin side.
e.g add products, change templates etc. I make the changes, but they do not come into effect.

Can someone PLEASE HELP.

Might you have over wrote the configure.php file(s)???
Check that the DB connection is the correct one

no, I backed up the configure files (both of them) and have re-imported them, just to make sure.

Any other ideas?

Is your test domain on the same server?
Do you have any working ZenCart on this server?

it's a shared space server. I have a Joomla instal in another directory on the same server.

Guess I would try installing on the same server as you have ZenCart on only in another dir/folder

I just decided that I was runing out of options. Don't have much alternative.
