Shipping Disclaimer?

The owner of our store bases shipping on total purchases and has a table linked to the shipping and returns link under Information. What is the best way to let the customer know this? Should I put a disclaimer saying to check on your shipping rate please click on the Shipping and Returns link in the Information side box or is there a better way. If not this disclaimer will need to be added to every product.
