    Default Mixed Live & Sandbox settings

    Hello,

    I am having troubles getting PayPal Express to work. When a customer tries to check out they get an error:

    We are sorry for the inconvenience. The PayPal account in this store is presently misconfigured to use mixed sandbox and live settings. We are unable to complete your transaction. Please notify the store owner so they can correct this problem. (10002)
    I've checked the admin payment module settings:- Express is enabled, IPN is disabled and the module is configured to 'live'.

    As far as I can see, PayPal is configured to live as well.

    Looking at the zencart Express tutorial (http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=15), it appears that the paypal account area is different from the one described in the tutorial: there is no 'profile' tab. We are logging in using the url - http://manager.paypal.com/ - does that sound correct?

    If you are using "manager.paypal.com", then I suspect you have a UK PayPal account? That interface is used for transactions that come to you via Website Payments Pro, which is not yet released for Zen Cart.

    You should also be able to login to "www.paypal.com" to access your main PayPal account area ... where you'll find a "Profile" tab, and be able to manage your paypal-to-paypal transaction history etc.

    Hey there,
    Have you set up a paypal sandbox account? I was having the same error but didnt realize you need to have a sanbox account to use the sandbox option in zencart.
