VAT number requirement for customers

Hello,

I have a question concering the user registration. Because we are a wholesale company, we only sell our products to shops and resellers. Because of that we need to verify that the customer indeed is a reseller.

Here in Belgium, every company has their own BTW-number, which is the VAT number.

Now the question : How can I add an extra line on our registration form which requires the customer to fill in their VAT number.

Help would be much appreciated !

You could use the Address Line 2 field and rename it to BTW
Admin > config > Customer

Thats not really a solution. If I do it that way, the BTW number will allways be shown in the address line as line 2.
