Default Re: How do I change link to home?

ok so none of this made any scents to me i tried all of them and still my link does not goto the right directory. i need my link to stop going from http://www.rottenappleind.com/zentcart/ and goto http://www.rottenappleind.com/ also due to the fact that my server will not redirect to /zencart it gives a index'ing error

Never mind this post i fixed it via the index'ing server on my host provider....

    Directory Indexes

If you have control over this part of your server add this line to it:

    zencart/index.php index.php

I would like to change the Home links to website.com/index.php

There is an index.html that loads when I go to website.com and the home links go there instead of to the index.php.

I've already changed the tpl_header and footer per post 20, but still get sent to the index.html

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Post 20 was for a different case.
You need to chane instances of
    Code:
    <a href="' . HTTP_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . '">'
    To:
    Code:
<a href=http://.webname.com/index.php>' or the www version

Ok i figured that out the sub domain, but ALL other links on the sit still reveal the folder info, is there a way i can get the zencart folder to be hidden under the subdomain for all links?

    Thanks,
    Brian

    ZenCart version?
    How this was installed?
Where it was installed initially? (path)
If you relocated it to this sub-domain?
    etc...???

I have the latest version of ZenCart with the security patch installed.

The current path to the store is:
    http://www.flyteusa.com/flyteusa/zen...eset-12112007/

This is where i originally installed, and i never relocated it i just set up a sub domain to point at that folder location.

    the subdomain is:
shop.flyteusa.com (this will take you right to the index.php)

When the entire site is live the url will be:
    http://www.flyteusa.com/zen-cart-v1....eset-12112007/

I would STRONGLY suggest that you rename the "zen-cart-v1.3.8a-full-fileset-12112007" part to something more suitable.
