pounds (lbs) to kilogrammes (kgs)

my postage stuff works in kilogrammes but now ive done it ive relised the site works in pounds is there a setting somewhere or a mod to change the pounds to kilogrammes.

all products are wieghed in pounds i want that changed to kilogrammes if you get me?

You will need to edit a php file via FTP or using Cpanel File Manager.

go to includes/languages/english.php and find the following lines of code:

define('TEXT_PRODUCT_WEIGHT_UNIT','lbs');

define('TEXT_SHIPPING_WEIGHT','lbs');

Change to:

define('TEXT_PRODUCT_WEIGHT_UNIT','kgs');

define('TEXT_SHIPPING_WEIGHT','kgs');

What do you mean, sorry im a bit slow?

You only have to worry if you are using a shipping module that uses pounds.

The shipping module im using is in kilogrammes but my cat items show up in pounds

Use your Admin> Tools> Developers tool kit to find the other language files that use "lbs"
