Default Windows server tricky on zencart

I have windows server and I configured zencart for my client and its working perfectly suddenly my client wants to shift the main shopping website to a subdomain and he want me to do other social network concept using Asp. Yes thats not a problem at all. I have now created ex shopping.domainname.com and put all the zen cart stuff inside the subdomain and also the main site is also working fine with asp because its naturally a windows server. Now my client is not satisfied with the traffic results he asked me to do a Mod-rewrite for all the Product ids inside that shopping cart. I have two queries whether zencart has the option of mod -rewrite in its code itself. If yes How to enable mod-rewrite in a windows server. Please suggestions needed as it is really urgent need for my client.

No, there is no built-in mod-rewrite feature at the present time.

Is there any coding development is going on in mod-rewrite because future demands more of friendly url's because of the stiff competition with the search engine rankings, i expect zen cart next version to have mod -rewrite feature.

Mod Rewrite is a native 'nix function - You will be better off on a 'nix server than hoping for WIN to support mod rewirte
