Need help on how to asign an attribute to a product

Hello fellow zenners,

How can i configure my product to sell like this,

1st one = x price
2 pieces = 2x price
3 pieces = 2.5x price
4 pieces = 3.5x price
5 pieces = 4.5x price
6 pieces = 5x price
7 pieces = 6x price...
12 pieces = 10x price...

help!

You could use the Product Price Manager and set the Quantity Discounts for these products ...

The discounts can be set by either actual price or percentage ...

But some how it doesn't show on the check out cart. It only show when i turn on the quanity discount function in Order Total from the admin control panel. But on the Order Total i can't set each and specific product item.

Can I also show the shipping charge/discount on the check out too? If so how would i be able to do that.

The Discount Table for the Product Price Manager section of the Discount Quantities shows on the product _info page ...

You would have to customize files to indicate anything beyond that ...

The Group Discount is only applied during checkout ...

Again, you would need quite a bit of customization to show it anywhere else ...

well, i tried so many different ways but can't config the product to set up a certain way. Can you tell me how to do it? it doesn't have to be in detail just point me to the right direction.

okie, the product for example is 6 dollars, for every 3 pieces people buy the third one is half off and for every 6 pieces people buy, the sixth one is free.
what's the syntax (if there is a place to put it) what's the code? or how am I about to go and config it.

What i have done, i went into product price manager and put under Qnt Discount
Discount Type = Amount off, Disc Price from = Price
Discount 1: Min Qty = 3, Disc Val = 1, so 5 x 3 = $15 (3 or more 1/2 on 3rd)
Discount 2: Min Qty = 6, Disc Val = 1, so 5 x 6 = $30 (6 or more Free on 6th)

But when I do a check out for 4 it take out $4 instead of $3. I guess the program compute 4: 5 x 4 = $20 (for 4 it should be {6 x 4} - 3 = 21)
...
