A Premier account is connected to your personal name, which will display during checkout.
A Business account is connected to your business name, which will also appear during checkout.
Changing your account name requires paperwork and explanation to PayPal. I believe there's a place to initiate that from within your account profile.
As to "hiding" it ... sorry no. I suspect they'd tell you that would be a big red flag of potential risk for fraud if you are trying to hide your identity from your customers.

For exactly the reasons that Dr Byte concludes that this would be a red flag to Paypal, it would be illegal in many countries. There is increasing legislation around the world to insist on transparency in e-commerce.

I only have a premier account as they are cheaper. I only ask because it looks more professional to send money to the website name than a personal name.
Is there no other way other than getting a business account?
Thanks
Jamie
If you want to trade as a business, you will need a business account. Depending upon your local legislation, you may also find that your receipts and/or invoices have to carry wording such as "John Smith trading as online-bargains.com"

Are you sure? Last time I looked they had the same fee structure.

Sorry yes your right it wasn't that it was all the additional information you had to add. And as a small "home based shop" they were a little bit more professional!
So is that the only way to hide your name?
Thanks
Jamie
For the third time, yes, a business account is the only way to do it.
