Hi,

I was browsing around a bit today and found this site..

I really like the way the white fades and the image shines through at the bottom.
Is this a CSS thing ? if it is can it be achieved easily.

We are revamping our site to have no left/right colums but to be honest css is quite a learning curve for me.

I had a look of the stylesheet for the site but I could not see anything that would do that affect.

thanks for the link, but can you actually tell me what Im supposed to be looking for ?
I have looked at the code of the above site and as confused as I was before.

I do not see any similiar tags between the stylesheets I have looked at that create the transparent effect.

I was totally wrong and making things way more complicated than they had to be :S turns out the effect they have used is just a background image, whos said life was not simple :)
