    Default Adding customized reports

I've tried asking this in the First Steps & General Customization Issues area, but with no responses. Perhaps someone may be able to answer here...

Is there any sort of guide or FAQ for adding new customized reports to the admin area? Haven't been able to find anything relevant through google or browsing the zen cart site.

I have seen and downloaded it before, but I got a parse error from it:
    unexpected $end in c:\zen\admin\stats_sales_report.php on line 1187

I've been trying to track down that error for the past day.

Thought that might be the case, but the file seems to be complete (i.e. ends in a proper end tag, nothing outstanding.)

Even tried downloading earlier versions of the code, and they also give the same problem.
