search not working in Bulgarian

I guess that the problem is in the language pack http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...word=bulgarian. Search is working perfectly but when the customer sets language to bulgarian it doesn't want to work except if the product name is written in English. I can't find similar post. Any help please! I have very much products and this function is essential.

No, the problem is not in the language pack. I had tried two other packs with same result. Actually there are English letters in the advanced search only, not Cyrillic. Can anybody suggests me where I can add Cyrillic letters?

did you solve this problem, because I have the same problem in Greek. When I switch to greek language and enter a greek string which I know it exists in the database, the search feature does not find the product. Surely it is not the language pack because all it contains is just translation definitions (from what I have seen). I will look forward to checking the code (I am a programmer and I can understand some internal logic)

I have already encoded zen cart for utf8 charset encoding, I followed the same steps described in the above referred link. The problem with the search feature in greek is irrelevant of that (unfortunately). It seems to be an internal zen cart code procedure which might alter the encoding of the string input by the visitor.

Are you sure that all your database is in UTF-8 correctly?

finally I have setup the collation of the whole database to greek_general_ci and the encoding is in greek iso-8859-7. These settings work ok.
