    application error backup_mysql_plugin_v1.3

    This is the error I get at the top of my screen when I surf to the admin page for database backup MySQL

    “Error: Backup directory does not exist. Please set this in configure.php.”

    There is a Directory /admin/backups/ with the permission of 777

    This is what I have in my /admin/includes/configure.php

    define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . 'admin/backups/');

    I have tried just /backups/ it does not work

    I don’t get it, anyone else get this error before, I looked around but didn’t see it, any idea’s

    Should be written:
    PHP Code:
      define('DIR_FS_BACKUP'DIR_FS_ADMIN 'backups/');

    What are the whole contents of your admin configure.php file, without the database password?

    thanks DrByte I am an very dumb, that fixed it, thats what I used to call the admin directory, the security brief said to rename your admin directory for security reasons and ... is what I used to call the directory if you name it that it is invisible to most clients and you have to know it's there to use it.
