Database Connection Error

Hello! I am a TOTAL newbie in more ways than one! I am sure there are other posts referencing this problem, but I am getting a connection error when I load my index page to my site. I am very new to Zen Cart and don't know much about MySQL or PHP. The error is located here: www.pricewebsites.com What am I missing in my setup? I have figured out how to setup a new database in the Control Panel of my site through my host, but I am obviously missing a major step. Thank you for any help!!! Amber

Post just the DB entries from your /includes/configure.php file and "X" out the user and pass fields for your security and while you are looking at this insure that these details are correct for the DB that you created

What DB entries are you referring to? This is where I get confused. I have tried changing the xxx spots to what my username and password are, but you are saying I do NOT have to do this? Thx!

Not exactly - I was asking you to post the details here but to X out your user and db name so that others will not see what they are

HOw do I easily access my previous posts? I wasn't sure if it was a setting in my account...I've had to scroll to my previous posts.

I hope this is the information you need...this is the info I changed. I even tried recreating the database (adding a new db) in my control panel, fixing the username and password. Is there other info I should change? I have used Dreamweaver to change and save my php files, is this ok? I have read that Notepad++ works better?? Thank you again!

Are you sure you granted the "user" access to the "database"?
