"Coming soon" items

Hello,

I would like to add some products to my store which I do not have on stock yet - and mark them "Coming Soon". I have the store set up so it doesn't show the items which are out of stock - and I would like to keep it that way.

The new products should be in kind of "showcase mode" where the customers can see the description, the pictures of the products, but there is no price and it cannot be selected and added to the cart.

Is this possible without major code modification?

Coming Soon Products show everything like a Normal Product with the exception that the Coming Soon Product cannot be purchased ...

If you do not add a Price then they DO NOT show one ...

If you add a Price then they DO show one ...

If you want this to work differently where you add the Price but does not show while marked as Call for Price this can be done with a relatively small customization to the template or the display price function ...
