Text overlapping in firefox

The attached image shows what i mean, this issue only happens in Firefox and not in IE. Now I wasn't the one to make the template and I'm not very good with css so I'm not sure what might be the issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Begin with going to your admin > config > layout settings > Column Width - Left > set to about 200-210px and see what this renders like

Also why have you implemented "Frames"" for this??

Not sure if you might know this but at the end of the pull down menu to the right of where it says "Shopping Cart" there is just a little purple square. In IE the purple extends on both sides out a bit, is there a way to make it do that in Firefox that you know of? not a big deal really, thanks again for your help!

You have to get rid of the frames to be able to get the css styling enabled

I guess I'll look into the frames issue, like I said I didn't set this up, it's my mom's site and the person that set it up as been of no help. Thanks again.

Hey kobra I know it's been a while but how would I go about removing the frames? I know how standard html frames funtion, but there doesn't seem to be any normal frames here, so I guess how would I disable/remove the "frames" also are frames what zen cart calls collums? Thanks in advance.

Zen Cart does not use frames, so these have been added by???

If these were added according to the override system - try in the admin > tools > template selection > selecting the classic template and then if no frames this is a place to start looking at the files associated with the previous template. If not then core files have been edited and without a very close look at it it is difficult to guess.

I guess the problem is I didn't set this up nor did I make the template, some one else did and now I'm stuck trying to fix it (since they claim that I added the frames or edited the core files, which the only thing I've added to the site was the "about us" mod, and the "stocks by attributes" mod). Also I might be stupid but I don't see any frames on the site the closet thing to one is the list of catatories on the left site but is being shown through the left colum funtion of zen cart.
