How to register globals off on a shared server?

Hi all I am new to Zen-Cart and the forums.

I am installing Zen-Cart on a godaddy, linux, shared server.

I would like to set register globals to off.

is this possible and if so how do i go about doing this?

When you're running the Zen Cart installer, it will give you a "more info" link next to its alert about Register Globals. The help window that appears from clicking on that link will give you some suggestions on disabling Register Globals.

Or, you could use GoDaddy's tech support site to hunt for instructions specific to their servers ... after all, they know their servers best.
