Default A way to be "closed for business" when needed

Ok, I'm at the tail end of a site for a pizza shop. The point of the site is for orders online for delivery or pickup.

Of course, they aren't always open. There are holidays and also late at night when they are closed. The question is, is there a way to "close the store" so the speak for orders, but not stop access to looking at the menu or the other pages of the site. I tried to modify the messages of the "closed for maintenance" function, but it closes EVERYTHING up when that is done.

The optimum situation would be if one could set hours when it would be closed and it would do it itself, but a minimum would be to be able to do it manually as I have described above.

    Any ideas on this?

You can set store to be showcase only..view products but not purchase.

Perfect, Misty! That's what I needed! I totally forgot about that option.
