In mine, 'First-Class MAIL Int' was an error and should be in all caps.
However that fix to all caps didn't give me 1st class international rates. FYI, I think they changed the service name for 1st class international.
In the official fix, I get no international rates at all, so I'm stuck using my fix so I can get a few international rates

Linda, have applied your patch (replacing previous 'usps.php' file with your new one) and now notice certain Shipping options not available.
Domestic Shipping Methods
Select the domestic services to be offered:
Express
Priority
First Class
Parcel
Media
BPM
Library
All of the above have been selected and all used to show, as available on the Checkout - Shipping options.
After applying your patch and even though the above are still all selected, the only USPS Shipping method now available for delivery anywhere within the USA is: BPM (Bound Printed Material).
Is that the correct output, no other USPS options available?

Nope. My bad.
Wanting to do some further testing on this, I first re-read the patch post by Linda, only to see the remove/reinstall notice.
Further testing shows all USPS Shipping options are working again as they should.

Please note: ANYTIME there is a patch or an update to a payment, shipping or any order total module you need to uninstall the "old" module and reinstall & reconfigure the "new" module for the settings and database to be reset.

Hi, I am having this problem as well unfortunately I am running 1.2.6 and this patch doesn't work for me. Is there anything you can point me towards that will allow me to fix the 1.2.6 version? Upgrading to 1.3.7 is in progress, it is just a time consuming process.

i too had this problem of Express shipping.
reviewed post here and i am missing something to get it corrected.

zen cart version 1.1.1
steps so far;
uninstalled from admin usps shipping module
removed usps.php on server (renamed)
uploaded linda's usps.php to server , includes>modules>shipping
went back to admin to reinstall and,..... its not an option now. hmm
am guessing am so far behind that the new update module doesn't work with the old code for ver 1.1.1. this shipping as worked well before. am off to reveiew capitalization of the two files. any help in compairing files would be greatly appreciated.

corrected two problems and now have usps shipping correct ;-)
having extra files in the shipping directory didn't allow new corrected 'capitalized' file to show up in admin of zcart. once removed dupplicate old copy ... cart began working.
then latest download wouldn't work with my old zcart 1.1.1
thank you for your postings on this as a customer brought it to our attention, and now it's working again! YAHOO.

There has to come a time, when previous versions of a script / program is no longer supported. This happens all the time with Software companies and scripts.
If not using Zen Cart version 1.3.5, 1.3.6 or 1.3.7, then it would be a very good idea to upgrade. Yes, they may be some upgrade problems along the way but it is to your benefit, and your Shop Visitors, to bring your Zen Cart somewhat uptodate. You will also receive faster Support here at the Forum as most people are familiar with the newer versions.
Otherwise, you will be left behind as Support for the "older" versions falls by the wayside. I, for example, didn't even know there was a version 1.1.1 that still worked with the Server software used today!![]()
