    Default Payflow Pro Namespace Change

    Hi guys, One of my clients got this in their email. And just wanted to give a heads up incase we will need to modify the files for our Payflow Pro Module.

    Payflow Pro XMLPay Service - Namespace Change
    Fri Apr 18, 2008

    The payflow Pro XMLPay Service will undergo scheduled maintenance on the week of May 14, 2008 as a part of the re-branding from VeriSign to Paypal. The following XMLPay namespace change will be made to the production environment:

    <XMLPayResponse xmlns="http://www.paypal.com/XMLPay">

    Please ensure that you check for both namespaces until we are fully transitioned from verisign.com to paypal.com. We will provide you with additional updates if anything changes.

    To test your code change, you will need to use the pilot (test) to test for the paypal.com namespace and live (production) to test for the verisign.com namespace.

    If you do not want to use a real credit card on the live servers, please use one of the test card numbers; such as, 5105105105105100. You will receive a result code to show the transaction itself failed, but it will allow you to test how you handle the verisign.com namespace.
    Anyway, let me know what you guys think.

    Default Re: Payflow Pro Namespace Change

    The Payflow Pro modules available from the Zen Cart site don't use XMLPay or SOAP API methods for communicating to Payflow servers.
    Thus you should be unaffected unless you're using a module from some other source.
