Using styesheet name as "style_XXXX.css" appears on every page and "page_XX.css" appears in the "page_XX" page but it beats me when it comes to homepage... I have tried every possible filename for css for it just appear in home page... Even searched for couple of hours and did not really find anything on this...
My question is simple... What should be the filename of the stylesheet so that it appears only in HOME PAGE.

That's explained in the CSS system readme file in the docs folder that comes with each download of Zen Cart.
