SSL Screwed up Font size and Position

I changed my ssl certificate to "true" in config.php

Changed attributes to WRITE...uploaded new config.php

changed back to READ ...now my fonts are huge and the page is hard left instead of in the middle.

The stylesheet file changes nothing.

HELP! ASAP!!

EDIT: Solved it. Adobe Go Live put a meta line in the file...removed it and all is OK.

Would you mind sharing the specifics of your solution? I came home from a weekend away and the same thing happened to my site. I hadn't changed a thing, but perhaps my problem is related?

Sorry buzzville...I had moved on to other issues.

Adobe Go-Live was encoding it with Western (iso 8859-1) . Frankly, I dont know what that means, but what is was doing was adding a line of script on the top of each PHP page.

I removed each line and stopped Adobe from encoding the pages.

You have to be VERY careful when using programs to edit your .php code that it doesn't insert extra lines. (Word and FrontPage are notorious for this.) A dedicated php editor or a plain text editor (Notepad) is best. (I know some have to use programs like that, but be careful.) I use one that's free called PHP Editor that doesn't insert code, and it checks to make sure I don't have broken tags.
