    Default Filter Results Intelligently Populated

    Hello everyone,

I am curious if anyone has written a mod or hack so that the "Filter Results" dropdown is "intelligently populated". By this I mean that the dropdown should not contain letters that will lead to a "There are no products to list in this category."

I imagine it would not be too hard to do this, and I may take it on if know one else has done it.
    Thanks,

    Brandon Hauff

I would actually like to turn this off, but haven't found any threads where this is covered as yet, or where to do it in the admin area.

Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated, I also wouldn't mind if the list was intelligently populated as suggested in this thread.

    Cheers,

    DAVE

Hah, just found the turn it off bit after reading some of the "Similar Threads" listed at the bottom of the page. Still interested in the Intelligent filter though.

There is actually a switch for this in the Admin ...

However, I sorta kinda put the closing bracket in the wrong place and it turns off the dropdown for the Catalog/Manufacturer as well ...

Good news! This has been fixed in the up coming Zen Cart v1.3.8 ...

And there is a post running around somewhere where I posted the fix as well ...

Any chance that you could link the fix from here?

I am terminally lazy and can never find what I am looking for using the search features on Forums. Guess I am thick too.
