I have been using commercial mod available through xmodules, and I can safely say that I have definitely seen repeat customer sales increase. This mod has been for itself many times over.

will test a bit more and will let you know.
But first comment :

the instruction (readme.txt) is a bit confusin , since youa re talking about V 0.1 0.2 etc...
then the dir is 2.00 and 1.10
the 3 sql files

in readme i did not see anywhere you talk about Editing core files, but on you web site are asking for edit ... (if file is already mod)

also list of file in redme is not accurate , ithink you forget the readme for v 2.10 :)

numinix, the owner of that site is the one who coded it, I mainly fixed some minor errors there since I dont have time. You may want to use the contact form on that site to let him know.

loyalty schemes depend on product and how often the reward can be gained.

in the cafe space loyalty is useful and depending on local competition required to compete. of course other factors are important - mostly quality of product.

I also use loyalty to charge a higher price to a customer who might be just 'passing through'.

buy 7 coffee get 1 free.....

did it help my business? not sure but I know alot of customers asked for it and they are like little children when they get their free coffee

People will go to the end of the earth just to get their free whatever. Remember that Seinfeld episode where Elaine had a sub reward card? She said, "I have endured 9 bad subs - I want my free sub!" It doesn't even have to be good as long as it's free!
