I don't know if there is a simple answer to this..... last week I upgraded my webhosting package, mostly to better support the zencart shop which is part of the whole site. Following the upgrade instructions, I made a back up folder of mySQL databases and saved it onto my desktop. Uploaded the rest of the website to the new package. Obviously (though it wasn't to me, not straight away till I thought about it) the zencart bit was missing. Presume it is in the saved folder (which contains an SQL file with customer data etc. on it which opens in Notepad). However when I try to import this folder into the new package it doesn't want to go - chunders for ages, says "Done", then starts all over again. (this could also be the fault of my inefficient and cluttered computer)
If I COULD get it to import would this put the shop back as it was?
A friend said it would be worth checking in ZEN admin and making sure that it is looking in the right place for the database - in case the upgrade has changed the path to the MYSQL database. Don't really understand this but can anyone tell me if this might be the problem and how to solve it?
