google ads won't work in code

basically i want to put ads wherever I want them, not just using the banner manager.

Every time I try to add the script

</script>

in the index.php or whatever other page and place I want to put it, i get an error and it won't work.

you shouldnt put anything in the index.php file,
thats just a ( for lack of a better term ) the framework

remember that you need to make sure that your putting your script outside of php

You might need to close php ?> <script></script><?php and then re-open it

not sure what to do about that now. I'll look into that.
