Customer Upload Artwork Facility

So, we called the table for the file uploads:
files_uploaded

I need to add a facility for a customer to upload their artwork when they order certain products. Any help or link to appropriate thread appreciated. I have read that this is possible (somewhere) but unsure where to post this question. Thanks, Andy

I think you can already do this in the attributes section but I am not sure as I am new to this.

You offer good advice Linda but in these days of 'hurry up and get it done", it is more common to looking on usage for a specific feature. Which brings to mind the Downloads section for ZenCart. As there is no search feature, one must browse every section, until the desired module is found, or continue searching for perhaps a slightly better one.

One tip for searching the downloads, indead the site as a whole is to use google

Head to google and put

site:www.zen-cart.com search term here

into the search box. You should find that this helps things along nicely :) I use this for most sites instead of the forum search etc as it tends to show better results. :)

I too would like the following things:

-If someone tries to upload a file with the wrong extension, the product must not be added to the basket

-When the shop receives the ordering e-mail, there should be a hyperlink to the uploaded file (image in my case).

I know it has been said before, just want to let you know I want those functions too

If someone has a solution for this, it would be greatly appreciated!

I definitely agree that the file should not be added to the basket if the customer does not complete their order... but also... is there a way to display a thumbnail of the file that they're uploading, or to allow them to upload a folder instead of an individual file without having to zip it first?
