    Default Need help solving 'not shipping to your region' problem

    OK, I've been reading posts on the forum for a couple of hours now and still can't figure this one out. I keep getting the following when I place a test order:

    "Not Available At This Time
    Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.
    Please contact us for alternate arrangements."

    1. The only shipping module I have installed is Table Rate (we use a couple of different shipping rates for everything/everywhere).
    2. No other shipping module is installed.
    3. I've kept the default values in Configuration > Shipping/Packaging.

    ZC version is 1.3.7.1. I will be more than happy to provide and requested information and will greatly appreciate any help!

    Do you offer free shipping on any of your products? If so, you need the Free Shipping module ("freeshipper") enabled.

    In your Table Rate module, what do you have set for the "Shipping Zone"?

    What is the "weight" of the products you're having this problem with?

    In order:

    1. There is no free shipping on any product.
    2. The Shipping Zone is set to 'none'.
    3. The product is a download, so the shipping weight has been set to 0.

    Note: I've only added one product so far, just to keep things relatively simple.

    Okay, since it's a download, (and notwithstanding your first point,) did you assume you should set it to be "free shipping" in the product details?
    Zen Cart automatically treats downloads as free delivery. But if you turn on "free shipping", it's gonna force it to go through the free_shipper module.

    In the product details I set-
    Always Free Shipping: No, Normal Shipping Rules

    I probably should note here that while this product is a download it can also be purchased as a CD, for which we do charge shipping- my bad for not pointing this out before.

    If I don't reply after this it's because I've left for the weekend- will be back at 8:00 AM Monday. Thanks a bunch for the help- will correspond with you then.

    You, sir, have been instrumental in solving my problem. Basically, it turned out that I didn't fully comprehend the option names and option values managers. When I was going through the checklist this morning it finally dawned on me what I was doing wrong.

    This is the second time I've come to the forum for help and you guys are batting a thousand. Thank you, DrByte, for the help!
