    Default Received an invoice in email, but no order on zen cart admin

    I'm not sure what to do. I only know that this order came through because it was from a friend and it's the first order placed on my new website. Any suggestions?

    What payment modules are you using? What invoice did the customer receive?

    I had the same thing happen to me today (and a while back). I received the Paypal notification that money had been transferred to my account but no order from the buyer shows up anywhere in my ZenCart admin, either in the customer's profile or in pending orders. I had to email the customer to ask what she bought! How embarrasing?! What would make this happen? Is there a way to retrieve the missing information? I use Paypal IPN.

    No order generated by Zen Cart is usually caused when the customer does not return to the cart after paying on the PayPal site.
    Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

    The same thing is happening to me, I get store pick up easy but paypal I get payment notification but no order info or confirmation, any help????

    Default missing orders

    I have this problem already many years, can't find solution. Help needed. It is happening 2-4 times in month, payment goming but no order. Happening to all finnish bank modules.

    Just to help in terms of knowing what the customer 'ordered'. Lookup the customers account number in the 'customers_basket' table, then cross refer the 'product_id' with 'products_model' in the 'products' table.

    I agree!

    so it's better give a notice when customer check out, something like "Do not close browser before paypal automatically return to cart.

    Or you didn't define the return path on your paypal's Instant payment notification.
