No Customer Referral in my Zencart

Hi, I have just launched my Zencart and now need to create a customer referral program. I cannot find it anywhere. I looked through the forum and it is nowhere to be found. I looked in the EXTRAS tab in the admin panel but it only shows: Record Artists, Record Companies, Music Genre, Media Manager and
Media Types.
Does anyone have any advice on how to add the customer referral program? In short, i need something to track sales and give sales commissions, since I will be getting other companies to advertise our products and would like them to get a commission on any customers that came through them.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but what I did is to enable customer referral status on
Configuration -> Customer Details -> Customer Referral Status -> 2

When a customer creates an account they're asked: Were You Referred to Us? Referral Code:

They enter the person's first or last name, or other code you pre assign.

Then I can run a Customer's Referral Report under Reports in Admin and see how many orders have been placed under each.
