changing colors

I know im asking a lot of questions on here, sorry everyone. I am trying to figure out how to change the colors of the sidebars, and the colors of the bar underneath the logo on my site. where do i find this at? im new here to zencart. Don't know anything about css or php, and am trying to figure this out with the tutorials and the forum here. i also want to change the font size on the bar under the logo, and also in the sideboxes. how do i do this?

Did you already leave us a link in your other post?

The sidebars might be images, so go into the template folder and find the images.

I used Gloss_Black and brightened up all the burgundy/merlow to bright red trying to achieve a racing theme with a carbon fiber page background.

You'll need a good image editor like Photoshop to be able to go in and change colors pixel by pixel. They are very small images so it doesn't take long and is well worth the effort in the end.

Your CSS page is your weapon of choice.

View the Source of the page, search for a word and locate the "ID=" or "Class=" or other attribute closest to it. Then find that attribute on your CSS page and change colors, etc, have some fun.

Make a backup of your whole cart and always save a clean copy of Zen v138 compressed somewhere like your CDRW that you are burning your site to.

The background colors on the left and right columns are controlled by:
