The only thing I have done so far is my tax portion. I have made no other changes. I don't really have anything to back up or save so how do I go about upgrading? I am really having a hard time understanding all of this.

As long as you don't mind re-setting up your tax codes, You could just delete the old files and the old database, and do a clean install.
By the same token, there's no better time than now to practice an upgrade because you don't have to worry about losing anything.
Thanks. That is what I was thinking of doing was just doing a clean upgrade. I was trying to figure out how to do the backups now but I am kinda in a time constraint right now and am trying to get this done the quickest I know how. Trying to learn too many new programs at once.
