Help, clean install of latest dont show images

Hello All,

Just did a clean install of the latest Zencart but i can seem to view the images that came with it. Followed the instructions carefully to load and install Zen cart. dont know what else i can do its not a resizing issue. i think its just a referring link to the images folder but i cant figure how to correct any link to the images folder.

all images show as a hyper text link also same situation in both IE and Firefox browsers.

any hints or resolutions would be great.

Hi,

i downloaded the release, unzipped it to my PC, uploaded all files to my host sever using filezilla as suggested. followed the instructions on the clean install directions.

Is your Admin section showing any images?

In the HTML output your paths show correctly. Does your Hosting control panel show you your Error log? Might help to narrow down where the problem is.

Otherwise, it could be a path problem related to your 'config' files.

hi, no error logs, but i do believe that this is a path problem.. in the config files. there are no images in my admin pages as well... this is odd i cant figure it out everything works except the showing of images..

In both your 'config' files, do you have the following:

define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');

Rob, Thanks for your patience and advise.

I figured this out. the site was on a hotlink protection list within the host and once i granted the site clear access it showed all the images.

Everything is all good now and i can start on restyling using the CSS.
