Default Physical Path for Directory - Yahoo hosting

    Good Morning,

I have been setting up zen cart and everything I need to start an online store for 3 days. I am not very computer literate and am stuck on entering the physical path to complete the installation.

I've searched here and everywhere else and found several ways to determine but none are correct. Yahoo is my ISP. I called them but they have no idea what I'm talking about. I need help and would appreciate any assistance I can get.

Thanks & have a great day,
    Vivian

Ask them what is the correct filesystem path to your "web root".

    Hi,

Thank you for your response. I deleted all the files and am reinstalling now. I copied them too many times, trying to get a path. I didn't understand but now I do and I want to start anew. Trying to get it figured out I also changed a php file based on something I read and in one post, where the person was using Yahoo, as I am, you found that his system inspection showed he only needed a /, which made sense to me cause that's what the php I ran to get the file, based on something I read said, that the file was "/" and that's what the guy at Yahoo told me also.

I will let you know and again, Thank You.
