Error message when going to payment page

lol, OK, Rob and/or DrByte. I'm back to square one!!!

They finally fixed whatever was making my store inaccessible (the tech gave me some cryptic response about "repairing" my tables). Needless to say, my site is back to where I started. In other words, it all works, but the "Version" (server_info.php) still shows the old version of curl (7.10.5). However, the output on the command line shows it's what you said it should be:

and the curltest.php?paypal=1 still shows the "bytes remaining" error. AAAAARGH!!!

Your phpInfo still shows it as the old version:

curl
CURL support enabled
CURL Information libcurl/7.10.5 OpenSSL/0.9.7c zlib/1.1.3

... which means they still haven't recompiled PHP with the updated libcurl code ... as evidenced in the top of the phpinfo output:

'--with-curl=/home/software/lib/curl-7.10.5-static'

I would have thought that with SSL being installed an earlier version of libcurl would still work. Obviously not so and I'm suprized it was not updated along with everything else -- that should have been updated.

Looks like the fastest solution to your situation shadoh, is to find a Hoster that maintains their Servers better.

I'm beginning to agree with you, Rob. I just need to prepare a migration plan. Considering I just got my store off the ground, I'm not looking forward to it.

OK Rob. I did it -- I switched hosts. I am trying to transfer my site over following these instructions, and I think I've got it all, except I'm stuck on the fix_cache_key step. I've downloaded and copied the fix_cache_key.php to my site but I get an HTTP 500 error (http://philgagner.com/candles/fix_cache_key.php -- don't worry, I'll rename/delete it as soon as we get this fixed).

Help?

Update: no longer getting 500, but now I get an error about a table not existing. Help!

Thanks for responding, Rob. Figured out the problem. my configure.php had a DB_PREFIX definition of 'zen_'. I changed it to '' and that corrected my problem. Looks like I'm all set now! WHEW! Thanks for all your input and advice!
