Great job on this mod btw. Any plans in the near future for this feature. Over 50% of the products being offered have qty prices and 90% of the customers belong to a group.

Just being a wiseguy but the desc states:
7.) Works on all products and pricing methods.

I will tinker with coding a bit to see if I can make it work.

LOL at being a wiseguy. I thought it did. Hehe! It's funny, though, I kept having the niggling feeling I'd forgotten to check something. That must have been it! Glad you're liking it otherwise. :)

I've already done some upgrading to the mod. I'll try to get the rest done as soon as possible, which is all I can promise. I've just finished some mods for my own store and have to take care of some other affairs before I can return to coding again.

In the meantime, would you mind posting the normal settings you would use for a "qty priced" product? And let me know if it has attributes, no attributes, etc. Just want to be sure I recreate the correct cirumstances, as qty pricing isn't something I use at my store. No wonder I forgot to check it. ;)

My circumstances are fairly easy.

5 Discount Levels
Discount Type: Actual Price
Discount Price from: Price

No attributes at all - ever

Example - if the product is $10.00ea - qty discount for 5 would be $5.00ea - and with their Group Discount of 50% would make Price $2.50ea

Hope this helps, I have been playing with code but not a coder here.

Still a couple of things I want to do before I re-submit the mod for download. Please try these in the meantime. There are three files in the .zip:

includes/classes/shopping_cart.php
includes/functions/functions_prices.php
includes/templates/your_template/templates/tpl_modules_products_quantity_discounts.php

The template alteration is new to the mod, which you'll need if you want to display the quantity discount price on the product info page with the group discount applied.

Change the name of the folder "your_template" to whatever the name of your template is, then upload all three files. That should do it! :)

However I lost the footer in my shopping cart, I will see if I can find what is causing this.

Glad to hear it works! I think I had OGP pricing the discounts right before I had the discounts right. LOL!

Lost footer most likely means you've forgotten a curly brace or have one too many. Just checked the sandbox and mine is fine. ;)

If you don't have any other mods installed into the shopping cart class, swap out the old file for new rather than merging it.

I'm sure you'll figure it out one way or another. I'll post again when the-even-more upgraded version is available for download. Stay tuned! :)
