products description help needed

Hi there still working my way round this prog. BTW very impressed with the whole thing so far.
Could someone help. When I type in a long description of an item it just puts it in one long continuous line is there a way to format this. ie. if I copy and paste this:

Specifications

* 1 x 10/100Base-T RJ45 LAN port
* Link/activity and speed indication LEDs
* PCI 2.2 interface
* Wake on LAN support
* Support for Windows 95 and later

What's Included?

* D-Link DFE-528TX PCI network card
* Wake on LAN cable
* Driver disk including user guide

it shows on page as this:

I am curious - why the recommendation for th XHTML break tag (<br />)? Is that just for good practice, or is Zen Cart written with XHTML?

As far as I know, all HTML tags must be closed now. I sometimes wonder who spends their days thinking up these things, but someone does.

Whenever I've validates HTML pages, the old br tag has always generated an error, so I use the /> now just to be sure.

It really does make me wonder though how much someone got paid to decide to add a slash to the break tag.

Just wanted to ask how to have it in tab format
for eg

specification features content

so that if i click features it shows features of item and if i click content it shows what is included.

I was checking out but could not find it.
Hope you can guide me

I may be stating the obvious here, but being a bit of a newbie to Zencart I can live with the consequences...

Surely the easiest way for the original poster to get the correct formatting for his description would be to choose HTMLarea from the drop down box nest to Text Editor on his admin products page as opposed to plain text and use the built in editor..

Or have I misunderstood the query?
