How to change left column boxes and headings?

I have just started a home business and am adding Zencart to my website. Customizing this cart to make it look like my website is a major pain. Does anyone know how to change the boxes and headers of the boxes in the left column? I would like to use .gifs to replace the headers and not have any boxes around the category links underneath.

The Image Titles mod will allow you to use your gifs (you will have to rename them according to a system as shown in the readme), and you can change borders etc. of the sidebox display, or just the categories box display, in your stylesheet (/includes/templates/your_template/css/stylesheet.css).

I'm not sure what I'm looking for in the stylesheet that would change the borders. Any ideas?

Rather than feed you a single answer, I'll feed you a fishing pole :)

Download Firefox and get its Web Developer extension (and possibly Firebug too). The Web Developer Information > Display Element Information tab will show you the class/id tags that apply to every element on a page as you click on them, so you can then style those elements in your stylesheet. It also allows you to trial-edit the CSS and see the results instantly.
