How can I prevent banners from repeating in the same page?

Make sure that each banner is only available to one banner group, and each banner group is only available to one banner.

Isn't the idea of a non repeating banner a slap in the face of the whole idea of having a banner?

If you have 100 people look at your site and only one person sees the banner, then you've defeated the whole marketing plan that prompted you to spend all the time making that banner.

Even if you just have 10 people sign up a day.

Why do you think that SANTA commercial is still playing in mid January.

Errrrr. John Patrick. I think that the poster merely doesn't want the same banner to appear several times on the same page at the same time.

This would avoid the risk that a marketing message not of interest to the visitor would not risk crowding out through over-exposure other messages that may be more pertinent. Sounds like good marketing practice to me.

The problem is that I have two baners my site and two boxes installed for baners. But when I open a page, can appear baners two, or one, but twice. In other words, the same banner in two different boxes. What I want is to have them both, one in each box.
