Paypal IPN in v1.3.8 - Could not find matched txn_id record in DB

Hi,

I just upgraded my client's site from 1.3.7 to 1.3.8a and whenever customer use Paypal, the store is getting - IPN NOTICE :: Could not find matched txn_id record in DB. Therefore is new to us.


Is this a bug in 1.3.8a? Should I revert back to 1.3.7?

So what happens is:

1. Buyer places an order
2. Order goes through (shipping OK, select Paypal as payment method)
3. Buyer pays
4. Order doesn't show up in Zen Cart!

Is this a bug?

I am also getting IPN FATAL ERROR :: Could not find stored session in DB, cannot re-create session as PayPal IPN transaction.

What order-total modules do you have listed in Admin->Modules->Order Total? (including whether they're enabled or disabled)

Those are normal. That means that the PayPal transaction being processed is being treated as a new order ... which is exactly what you want it to do.

I cannot get the orders to show up if echeck is used either. I have ZebCart version 1.3.8, just installed it like 2 weeks ago. Getting the same thing:

Any ideas? I can see that the "cutomer" has orders, but when you click on the "customer's" orders in the admin of zen cart, nothing shows up... Thanks!

Also what's weird, is in the database, it added another order. Well it appears the IPN added another order and marked it as a 3 (Delivered) that is what I have it doing after "completed." So now there are 2 order in the db, weird.

But I also cannot see the order in the admin still, so I am going to look at the query on the orders page to see why not, why they are not coming up... Order totals come up etc, but no detail etc.. Let me know what you think
