Default Payment Module in Admin not working.

    Hello,
I have been working on this all day. When I enter admin/modules/payment section
I am missing the table on the right side for configuring the files.

I checked several posts of the same issue and...

    1. checked that both includes/modules/payment filenames and includes/languages/modules/payments filenames are the same.

    2. checked that the language files are in the right place and same for includes/modules/payments files too.

    3. all files are unchanged and same from a clean download of the latest Zencart version.

Now I am at a standstill not sure of what to check next.

I plan on just using the paypal module and the money order module only.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If more info is needed I am happy to provide.

    Many thanks, Catnip Kitty

Look at your admin/modules.php - make sure it is not corrupt.

What *are* the filenames in your /includes/modules/payment folder?
Is there any error message showing on the left side? If a PHP error occurs before the left side finishes drawing, the right-side sidebox won't draw.

    Hi,

I made sure my admin/modules.php is the same as the clean download of Zen Cart. If the module.php from the untouched download is corrupt I am not sure how I would find that out. Still a newbie.

The files I have in includes/modules/payment folder are:

Folders: autorizenet, linkpoint_api, nochex_apc and paypal

    Files:
    authorizenet_aim.php
    authorizenet_echeck.php
    authorizenet.php
    cc.php
    cod.php
    freecharger.php
    linkpoint_api.php
    moneyorder.php
    nochex_apc.php
    paypaldp.php
    paypal.php
    paypalwpp.php

I am not receiving any errors at all which makes it difficult for me to pinpoint the problem. I am running the site offline on a linux server if that helps. Any more info needed I am happy to provide
Thank you so so much, Catnip Kitty

Try step 2(a) from this article -- to turn on some debug logging to perhaps find out what's happening:

... but do it in the /admin/includes instead of the normal /includes/

Thank you for all the help.
I found the error log for my apache2 server and there was a memory allocation error. My php.ini was set to 8MG and the program was looking for an addition 2 mg's so I set the memory to 32MG and viola it works!! My online server has three times that in memory so I think I am set!!
I wasn't sure if my offline server had an error log so I learned something new.

Many thanks for all the great help! I am changing from oscommerce to Zen Cart (which is the most awesome program!)
