    Idea or Suggestion Delivery control

...add ability to control and record deliveries for your Zen-Cart catalogue.
Ability to add/delete deliveries (supplier, date expected), add/delete product to/from each delivery.
Mark deliveries as delivered/undelivered and upadets stock.

    Not tested with stock_by_attribute contribution.

This contribution is copy of working version in my cart.

Some modification may be needed to work with your Zen-Cart.

So, if I understand correctly, I would use this to track stock coming into my store? If my supplier has shipped etc?

    Yes...

It is used for easier stock entry and better delivery control.

You can create an order, when you make an order with your supplier.
Than mark is as delivered, when you receive it, and your stock will be updated.

    Clear?

    Hello Loutka,

Looks really good in the picture, and the idea sounds great. I had a problem uploading the SQL. It came back failed. I have a prefix of zen_ for my tables, but usually sql works ok.

    Regards,

Hi, prefix zen_ is the problem probably...

You should create two tables delivery and delivery_products to work with this module. It's not written very smart, but it's working.

    So solution could be:
    1. make tables without prefix zen_
      or
    2. change all instances of tables delivery, delivery_products, products_description and products in module's source code

The second solution is wiser I'll fix this in next version...

Let me know if that helped...

Obviously you have Admin Conrol module installed, right?

Go to Tools -> Admin Settings and make sure 3 checkbuttons for delivery files (at very bottom) are checked.

Let me know if that helped...
