alter and add new product properties

I have set up a motorbike online shop and would like some help.

I would like to alter the product Model to say product Code.
Also to add the following extra info:
product make:
product model:
product year:

Don't mind if its a new database for the addons, but need help limited knowledge of MySQL.

I have added a before shot and a after shot which I need to make it look like.

The easiest way is the add the new fields to the product table, but you would also need to amend the collect_info, preview_info and update_product files for your product type in the admin and the product_info header and template pages to extract the data from the database and display it.

For a competent developer or an enthusiastic amateur with minimal database knowledge, this would be relatively straightforward. But if you don't have PHP programming skills, then this is likely to be a bit overwhelming and would exceed what could reasonably be covered in a forum post.

Got it sorted, but have come across another problem.

How do you edit easy populate to accept the new properties.
