Making a product collection or set

I've got several products set up, all with the same price. What I'd like to do is make a special collection or set of products that the customer can buy for a discount.

Does anyone know if this is possible to do out of the box or if there is a contribution that can do this?

The simple answer is no, it is not possible to do "out of the box" (at least not automatically); an option could be to create a new product with the grouping of items and the new price?

You may (or may not) find this Module helpful >> http://www.zen-cart.com/..._id=235 it will allow a person to set up a discount on a per item, per category or total item basis.

Unfortunatly, that is the only add-on module that might help you do what you are after, you could always put an ad up in the "Commercial Help Wanted" section of the forum.

Thanks for the advice Dwells! We did think about making the collection one product, but we have site wide quantity restrictions in place that won't let us do that. I suppose we'll just have to investigate our options. :)
