Very frustrated, but Godaddy caches .htaccess files, and renews the cache every hour or so. All the changes I tried were not reflected right away, I will try again early this morning.

Yellow,
I think you may have been speaking to bohan36, the file you linked to looks like an IIS version, can you confirm?
Thanks

This is just a note to all the testers:
Since the early versions of SSU had problems with PayPal IPN, it was one of my biggest concerns in testing the new version. And I'm glad to announce that all my test orders on 3.2.4 went through with no problem.
If someone is using GoDaddy and if you can set up a test server to test it out, it will be greatly appreciated. GoDaddy has been known to give us lots of headache so far (Paypal IPN problems, curl problems, ....)

Thanks so much for taking the time tonight Yellow. I had no idea that the .htaccess file only renewed once an hour. I had tried making some minor changes to it to no avail... not even breaking it when I expected to. That explains why.
I'll talk to you more tomorrow about it. Thanks again.
Tom
If you are using GoDaddy and has some problem with SSU, You may want to try comment out the Follow SymLink part as suggested here:

(it's for Joomla, but yeah, GoDaddy again)

As promised, here is the (draft)guide for writing your own language parser:
http://wiki.rubikintegration.com/zen...anguage_parser
This new functionality gives you unlimited control over the way you want to display the "names" on your link without touching the core code. Just be very careful tho, always urlencode the name.

Thanks yellow,
I did the quick fix by changing file names, will definitely contact my host about changing version. I would have thought they'd be on php5 by now... christ knows why they're not.
I have another problem, additional images aren't popping up right. I don't have the large image module installed so not sure what the problem is. tried searching this thread but it's just so huge now! ah!
