    Session Directory /home2/ndsparts/public_html/cache
This actually should be the same with the cache folder (path found in your includes/configure.php, last lines)

I have checked your site, indeed the way how zenid is attached to all links on all sub pages is weird
I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me

    I have tried:
    Session Directory /home2/ndsparts/public_html/cache
    Session Directory //cache
    Session Directory /cache

It hasn't made any difference. At the moment it's set to /cache

When I log into my bluehost.com account the 'stats' are:
    Main Domain nintendoparts.com.au
    Home Directory /home2/ndsparts

so maybe Session Directory /home2/ndsparts/public_html/cache is correct after all?

In my configure.php the last lines are:

// The next 2 "defines" are for SQL cache support.
// For SQL_CACHE_METHOD, you can select from: none, database, or file
// If you choose "file", then you need to set the DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE to a directory where your apache
// or webserver user has write privileges (chmod 666 or 777). We recommend using the "cache" folder inside the Zen Cart folder
// ie: /path/to/your/webspace/public_html/zen/cache -- leave no trailing slash
    define('SQL_CACHE_METHOD', 'file');
    define('DIR_FS_SQL_CACHE', '/home2/ndsparts/public_html/cache');

    // EOF

My site had been logging debug files corectly, such as

    /public_html/cache/zc_339c7e6bb4fe68547b272b7ec5401b17.sql
    /public_html/cache/myDEBUG-911699-1286090555.log

    Any ideas. I'm stumped.

I believe you can put it in any existing folder on your server (that your script has write permission)

Usually I use the zencart cache folder which in your case is

    /home2/ndsparts/public_html/cache

Debug files have been logged correctly in the past so the cache folder specified in the configure.php must have been be set up correctly (correct path & correct permissions). There are no new debug files being logged. I think home2/ndsparts/public_HTML/cache is correct.

But if this is correct how come changing it didn't break anything (or change anything)?

I only ever noticed the zenid after installing SEO URLS, but maybe this just because I was never looking at the URL's very closely before.

Huhm, I really cant think of any reason, can you test 2 things:
    1. Turn off SSU via admin and check the site again, btw when you do so you may want to clear session, cache etc to make the system think you visit the site for the first time
    2. Copy and paste the admin setting of SSU here, I dont think it has anything to do with this but I will have a look just to make sure

I turned SSU off and cleared the cache. The zenid's are still hanging around. Now when I look at the old URL's I think the zenid's were probably hanging around before SSU was installed. I don't think it has anything to do with SSU, but here are my SSU settings (note, I have SSU turned off at the moment, but usually it's turned on):

    ID delimiter -
    Name delimiter -
    File extension
    Set max category level 2
    Exclude list advanced_search_result,redirect,popup_image_additional,download,wordpress
    Set Link Alias Status true
    Set minimum word length 0
    Set maximum name length 0
    Set SSU Status false
Set SSU Multi Language Status true
    Set Query Key's Exclude List zenid,gclid,number_of_uploads,number_of_downloads,action,sort,page,disp_order,fi lter_id,alpha_filter_id,currency
    Set Auto Alias Status true
    Set Category Separator -
    Hide default language identifier true
    Cache reset time 1286616060

    Hello everyone,

I have just installed SSU ver 3.8.5 as a module to my Zen-cart ver. v1.3.9f. Seems I have installed it all right, with the hand-edited html_output.php, module installer, using the htaccess that cam in package with ver 3.8.5, etc. The links that I see through the anchors are fine and clickable, however I have 2 immediate problems:

    1) whenever any of the SEO links are followed, they KEEP REDIRECTING me to ‘index’ root page.
    2) when ‘local.config.php’ (coming in package with ver 3.8.5) is enabled (my language code is RU), then returned is “500 Internal Server Error”. Both “SSU Status” and “SSU Multi Language Status” are true.

    My environment is Apache/2.2.10 (Win32) PHP/5.2.9-1; MySQL: 5.0.67-community-nt

Can anyone please explain how to fix this or please direct me to where this is covered within this threat ?? (spent some 1 hour reading through the posts, but no luck).

    hello raine et all,

i have the same problem with the main page that is showed instead of the actual page that it should (and is shown in the URL bar).
I know in my heart it has to be something with the .htaccess but cannot lay my finger on the soar spot ...:) (it's a dutch saying, not sure if it's an englis saying as well hehe)

i am running older version of ssu and i am trying to upgrade in dev environment first which is where i have the problem.
dev is xampp with php 5.3 <--something to do with it?

any pointers in the right direction are very welcome!

(.htaccess is as plain as it should be like the one coming with the module)

    thanks,
    Jeroen
