Are we talking about using 1 paypal for multiple sites, or just one?
Anyway, the steps that worked for me and garyclemens:
Remove paypal ipn (uninstall)
Update the patch if needed.
Reinstall, set pdt token as instructed by garyclemens above
Also turn on ipn and auto-return in paypalAs I mention earlier. I will try your suggestions and (uninstall)I have another web site set up The Good Shepherd Store and my wifes web site is going through that one with paypal.
ipn. Reinstall it. I have a question, do I use the same token that was given me from The Good Shepherd Store since this is my main store that my other web site is going through. I know what Doctor Byte was saying about zen cart
We have discuss that before a while back here in this thread.Zen Cart can happily use the same PayPal account on multiple sites ... because each store sends its own IPN URL for each transaction with the submitted transaction data, and then PayPal uses that submitted URL for all IPNs related to that transaction, regardless of what URL is entered in the merchant's PayPal Profile details. (But whatever is in their profile must point to a real working URL that will properly respond to IPNs, otherwise if PayPal sends any IPNs to that address and fails, it will deactivate IPN functionality altogether after enough failures.)
