Shipping question

Hi I am useing two dift shipping one up to 50lbs which is the usps and another which is by weight or per unit. The prob I am having is that when I have a product that weighs under 50 lbs it show both in the check out. Is their a way to show only usps for anything under 50lbs and only per unit for anything over 50lbs. what is happing is the product under 50lbs is showing a cheaper per unit price then the usps price put it will cost me mor to truck ship then to ship usps

You would need to customise the shipping module, in 2 ways. Firstly you would need to add teh database configure statement, to define the lower threshold. You would then need to alter the script, so that it checked that the order was more than the threshold.
