Forgotten Password Email

I just went live with my store and I have a customer who is having password trouble. She had items in her cart, logged out, and tried to log back in but received a message stating her email address wasn't being recognized.

She clicked on 'forgot password' but did not receive an email with a new password.

Is this email automatically generated or should I have set it up somewhere? I can't seem to find anyplace to do so.

I tried to get a new password email generated using my own email address and didn't receive anything either, so I must have something set up wrong somewhere but I cannot figure out what. And I cannot find anyplace to reset the customer's password from my end.

I'd appreciate any help you can give me!

Wait. Did this solve Deanna's problem? Deanna are you still on this thread?

I checked out the mod, but I'm having the same core problem -- forgotten email password not getting sent (received) -- and since I know this works in a normal ZenCart install (and since I'm not having any other problems with email), it doesn't seem like a mod should be necessary.

There is a newer thread on this issue. Whatever I discover I will post there.
